As humans are not capable of working long, uninterrupted periods of time, there is a requirement for free time. During free time, a person may do a wide array of things, basically anything as long as they are capable of doing it and it does not break the law.

   One of the most common ways of spending it is, especially with young people, playing videogames. It is an activity that usually challenges you and makes you improve at it as the difficulty scales the longer you play. For me that is the main appeal of most games, as they push you to become better at them.

   In a way, you can say that “gaming” improves your reflexes and sometimes even changes your personality, so you could become a better leader or perhaps improve in a different way. From when I started playing, there has been a major improvement in my skills, convincing me that the benefits of gaming outweigh the negatives by a large margin.

   Because most young people play them, videogames have become a very important means of socializing. Most games are multiplayer, so you can play with friends and meet new people online. I managed to find a quite large community of Slovenes that play the same game I do, and that has made the gameplay a whole lot more fun and engaging.

   All in all, everyone should value the time they are given off work or school and enjoy it in a way that suits them. For me, that is playing videogames and it is an activity that has many advantages.
